About me and my Psychotherapy Training

I am a qualified psychotherapist, having trained for seven years, I hold a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy, a Professional Award in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy and an Advanced Certificate in Couple's therapy.

Humanistic means that I believe that, given the right conditions, everyone has the potential to live happy and fulfilling lives. Integrative means that in the course of my training I have studied different theories and approaches which inform my work as a whole.

I am well supported in my work with one to one and group supervision.

I work in private practice and I have worked as a psychotherapist for the NHS in Bristol. Prior to this I worked for the Swan Project and Akousis Counselling.

I also hold a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art and a PGCE.

I am registered with UKCP as a psychotherapist and I abide by their ethical framework and code of practice.
